We're always looking for fun, motivated freelance paddleboard and kayak instructors to join our team at Richmond, Teddington and Kingston.
Our small and friendly team have taught nearly 10,000 people to paddleboard on the Thames in the last few years. Why don't you help us take that even further?
You will need to be able to deliver really safe, fun and informative sessions – where everybody, from complete beginner to experienced paddler, leaves having learned something new – and with a smile on their face!
You will need
One of either
British Canoeing Paddlesport Coach, Leader or Instructor, plus SUP Module
Water Skills Academy (WSA) Foundation SUP Instructor
British SUP Association (BSUPA) L1 Instructor
Academy of Surfing Instructors (ASI) L1 Instructor
As well as
British Canoeing Paddlesport Safety and Rescue Training (or WSA equivalent)
Current Outdoor/Aquatic First Aid Certificate
Strong personal paddleboarding skill level
Extensive solo paddleboarding experience on rivers and tidal water
If you’re interested, email us at the address below, outlining your experience, credentials and rough availability.
We'll meet up, have a chat, get you out on the river shadowing us, and if all goes well we'll have you working on the water soon!
If you don't have any water sports qualifications, but are interested in getting some experience working at our sites, then please feel free to contact us as well. We may be able to offer you advice on getting qualified, or a land-based role helping getting our customers on the water.
